She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, option in Accounting Theory & Practice, summa cum laude, from California State University at Northridge in 1992. She passed the Uniform CPA Exam in 1993. Ms. McBride then obtained her law degree from University of California, Los Angeles in 1996, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1996. In 2009, she was certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization as a legal specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law, a distinction held by fewer than 1,000 California attorneys.

Ms. McBride opened her solo law practice in 2007. During the eleven years prior to that, she worked as an associate for several tax, trust, and estate attorneys, gaining in-depth experience in various aspects of the field of estate & trust law.
